Ali's Tattoo Story
My tattoo's are quite personal to me, as I believe that tattoos ought to be. My first one between my shoulderblades is a tribal "S" for my mother's first name of Shari. She died when I was 14 in August 1999 in a car accident, and I had the design drawn up from a keychain of hers that I found in her belongings. The piece on my lower back is of two Cancer symbols intertwined in tribal that matches the first tattoo. I got these because my father and I are both Cancers, and my astrological sign is quite sacred to me. I kind of consider these two tattoos to be one because the original intention was to make them into one big back tattoo. The next addition to them has already been designed, and is set to be inked by this Christmas, thus completing the project even further. So stay tuned for more pictures of the new ink -- and there will be some color this time :O) |
