Where Were You Born And Raised?
I was born and raised in a teeny, tiny Midwestern town about 500 miles from anywhere. Baroness Eva von Slut - Wicked Name! I Assume You Are Comfortable With The Term 'Slut' Being Associated With Yourself, Do you feel that you have reclaimed that word and made it your own? Well the real story is I have an all girl band called Thee Merry Widows (www.merrywidowsmusic.com) and my original vision for the band was to be called "The Von Sluts" and dress in German military uniforms onstage like Ilsa-style. I realized after a while that people might think we are a Nazi band (which we are decidedly NOT) and so we renamed the band and changed the image. However I had already done some photoshoots and so forth under that name and I thought what the hell? It's original and sticks out in people's minds. |

How Old Were You When You Got Your First Tattoo? Are you finished getting them yet?
I got a very shitty homemade tattoo at 15, and my first professional tattoo at 18. Both are now covered. I won't ever be finished, there's always room for another silly little tattoo. If You Could Be Granted A Blank Canvas Again, What Tattoos Would You Choose, Where, Why And Whom By? I don't think I would change a thing! I love all my tattoos, even the crappy ones. They mark certain times and places and people in my life and I wouldn't want to alter any of it. |

I Find The Way You Look Absolutely Fantastic, But What Has The Reaction From Men Been Towards You In General, And Do You Really Care?
I gotta say, I never really thought about it. I kind of just do whatever I want to do and let the chips fall as they may. Probably, as in any extreme look, there are people who love it, people who are turned off by it, and some who don't care either way. I certainly have never been missing out on male attention through the years. |

You're Confident, Scrumptiously Voluptuous Woman. We Live In A Society Which Glorifies The Image Of Women Looking Like Pre-Pubescent Boys. Have You Always Been Confident About The Way You Look And Have The Tattoos Helped You In Being More Comfortable In Your Own Skin?
Whatever the weird brainwash is that some girls have accepted these days that makes them hate their bodies, I just don't have it. I love myself and my curves. I don't understand why women don't just say "fuck you, I don't have to be skinny to be hot." Any real man would like his woman to look like a woman and have boobs and an ass and not look like she's one step away from death. I know some girls are naturally thin and athletic. But there are lots of women out there starving for no good reason except they think it makes them look good. I think having beautiful tattoos helps you feel more attractive, and I love showing mine.. |

Do You Think The Stereotype Of Tattooed Women Portrayed By The Media(e.g. Suicide Girls) Help Or Hinder The Way Society's Expectations Of Tattooed Women? Maybe it hurts, maybe it's good. It's not for me to judge what the Suicide Girls are doing. If they are happy with how people percieve them that good for them. I certainly think Suicide Girls and some of the other sites (like InkyGirls.com, etc.) are helping people be aware that there are other types of beauty out there than the Hollywood bimbo/pornstar look! What's It Like Having A Following Of Adoring Fans? Well, I do have some great people that I am lucky to call fans and friends, and I thank them all for the support and kindness they ahve shown me and my bands through the years. I'm always amazed when someone I know tells me I am their favorite singer, or their inspiration. It's great to know that girls in particular are enjoying what I do. |

Can you Tell Us About Your Band, The White Barons? Sure! We are a rock and roll band (think Motorhead meets Danzig). Our first album "Up All Night With the White Barons" just came out on Gearhead Records, and we have just completed a tour to South by Southwest in Austin, and played our record release party at Noise Pop with the Dwarves. We will be hitting the East Coast this summer as we head to the Heavy Rebel weekender in North Carolina. Tell Us A Little About Your Lifestyle And Interests? Well I work very hard on my bands so that takes up a lot of my time. I also do some burlesque appearances (although very few these days as the bands come first) and also MC for shows and events. I also work at a tattoo shop as a counter girl. |

What Do You Do To Relax?
That's a rare occasion, when I get to relax. I do love massages, getting pedicures, etc. I love watching cheesy horror movies and good old fashioned sleeping! I'm actually heading to Las Vegas next week with my boyfriend for a little rest n' relaxation weekend. I can't wait to unwind!
